About Y-CAPP Organization

The New Y-CAPP, Inc. was incorporated in 1999 to serve the needs of children and youth.

Specializing in residential and independent living group homes for youth ages 9 thru 20.

Currently, The New Y-CAPP, Inc. operates two (2) group homes, one (1) independent living home, R.E.A.C.H., Y-Tech Vocational Center, Day Treatment and In Home Counseling Services. Y-Tech has broadened the range of services and allowed another venue in which adolescents can experience success.

Over the last eight years approximately 800 youth have been provided outstanding services through Y-CAPP's organization. The New Y-CAPP proudly acknowledges a success rate of 83%.

Working in conjunction with the City of Richmond and Richmond Public Schools our educational assistance programs have served over 428 students in the last five (5) years. Y-CAPP's mentoring services have enabled youth to promote positive change and strengthen their communities. Y-CAPP provides valuable career networking opportunities and has placed many on the path to personal and career development..
